Space Coast Launch Photographer Lau Brown captures SpaceX 100th flight ytd during the October 23rd 2024 5:47 PM liftoff of Starlink 6-61 from SLC-40!

First stage Falcon 9 booster B-1073-18 completed its 18th flight to space and safely landed on ASOG drone ship down range in the Atlantic Ocean. Multiple launch attempts yesterday were finally scrubbed due to high surface winds on Tuesday night.

SpaceX incredible cadence of 100 flights by October 23rd in this calendar year is simply incredible. Less than 24 hours later SpaceX launched their 101st mission from Vandenberg California with the NROl-167 mission for the National Reconnaissance Office classified payload on October 24th at 1:13 PM ET.
