It's worth a 28 hour straight drive ( Marco Island to Boca Chicha) to be back for SpaceX Starship IFT-6 with Starship 31 & mega first stage booster B-13 and a hopeful 2nd successful catch of that booster back at Starbase Boca Chica Texas.
SpaceX has pushed the new launch attempt to Tuesday November 19th 2024 at 4:00 PM CT. There shouldn't be any fog issues at liftoff like IFT-4 but liftoff will be back-lit from a Padre Island viewpoint. Remote camera set up has been pushed back. I'm looking forward to being up close and personal with Hoppy! The dented legs from IFT-1 with the launch pad debris is interesting to see on this iconic tank.
A new protective underlayment under the heat shield with new heat tiles will be interesting to see the results at entry and a hopeful relight of a Raptor engine will be huge. Can't wait!
The rapid changes to Starbase are amazing. month to month.
