On August 24th from the 39A press site I caught SpaceX B-1073-10 with a VAB transit (Transit #1) as it moved from Hanger X to LC-39A for integration with a second stage and
the Starlink 6-12 payload.
Ten days later on September 3rd caught a lunar transit (Transit #2) with this same booster thirty seconds after liftoff at 10:47 from LC-39A in a small gap with these fast moving clouds from Titusville Florida. We were very lucky to just catch a small keyhole gap in the clouds before the moon was swallowed up just minutes after taking these photos coming off the Atlantic ocean.
Included in the gallery is a long exposure streak of NASA SpaceX Crew 6 Dragon returning it's four astronauts to a safe splash down in the Atlantic from the Max Brewer Bridge looking North around 12:10 AM 9-4-23. A truly stunning re-entry across the early morning sky!
An incredibly inspiring evening documenting both events with Space Coast colleagues and the general public. Well done to the entire SpaceX & NASA teams.
